Loom Knitting for Independence

Welcome

The 2017 Annual SMA Conference will be held in Orlando, FL at Disney’s Contemporary Resort from Thursday, June 29th through Sunday, July 2nd, 2017. Sales of any items on my site or custom requests now through the end of June will go towards attending the conference. If you want to help out without making a purchase, please send a check to Peggy Overbey, 1807 NE 16th Pl, Ocala, FL 34470 or donate through the PayPal button at the bottom of the page. See my blog post.

One Peg at a Time has been established to help provide for medical and/or equipment needs that would make my life and the life of those who care for me easier. These type of things are not usually covered by insurance because they are considered conveniences and not necessities. Of course, no one really understands how important these conveniences are to their independence until they are the one who needs them.

Testimonials

The scarf is even prettier in person ( hard to believe) And your work has inspired me to practice looming more 😉

And your life story has inspired me to be even more grateful for every moment of every day. You so obviously are still able to find the joy in life. You are the bravest person I have ever known.

I love my handmade hat! Peggy is quick to respond and tailor your product to suit your needs. She’s just a lovely person in general too.

It is also wonderful to think that Peggy made my hat and that the money is going towards her new robotic arm. Someone so positive and willing to fight for a better future deserves your support.

Her products would also make wonderful gifts too.

Peggy made a beautifully colored hat that looked exactly like what was pictured. She even added a loomed flower on the side to allow for adjusting the fit. From my order date to my receiving the hat was one week or less. Peggy is the hardest worker I have ever known; whatever she can do, she does it with full effort.

I saw the Comfort Shawl that Peggy had knitted for a previous customer and knew right then that I had to have one for myself. It turned out fabulous and I am so happy with it!! It's the perfect size and it looks awesome. I would recommend Peggy to anyone looking for a handknitted item without reservation. You will not be disappointed!!
